Little Georgies

3 Year old Programme

Georgiana Molloy Anglican School has implemented an Early Learning Program for 3 year old boys and girls. The aim of Little Georgies is to provide a high quality service in a caring, nurturing and safe environment. This program is specifically designed for Pre-Kindy children and is carefully planned to maximise opportunities for learning, exploration and problem-solving. Children will be encouraged to practise new and already mastered skills. The program operates from a purpose built centre within the school’s Early Childhood Campus offering a morning or an afternoon session one day per week.

Every child is valued and their uniqueness respected at Little Georgies. The children’s strengths, interests and needs are identified and appropriate experiences for each child are incorporated into the programme. Children possess a natural curiosity to learn about themselves, others and their environment. As Little Georgies is part of the Anglican School Community it is natural that we have a religious dimension to the programme with special guest appearances by Fr. Earle Chamberlain.

From the Little Georgies programme the children will move into Kindergarten being well-prepared, confident and ready for the new challenges. Children must be 3 years old to attend this programme. In relying on Parent assistance for this programme, we are establishing vital and positive links between home and school.

VET students are using the 3 Year Old Little Georgies Children’s programme as a training facility for their Early Childhood Studies for the WACE courses in Years 11 and 12.
