Technology

We believe in the importance of empowering our students for a digital future by educating them to become safe and responsible online users.

Every student in Secondary School has access to their own Apple MacBook Air laptop throughout their learning journey. The 1:1 laptop program is covered by an ICT levy as outlined in the School Fees brochure each year. This levy includes the laptop, insurance, bag, hard case, software, internet usage, printing and help desk support.

Our Junior School students benefit from a 1:1 iPad program in Year 3 and a MacBook program from Years 4-6. These programs greatly enhance our students’ learning experiences and helps them to develop sound research and analytical skills.

In Primary School all students from Pre-primary to Year 6 undertake Digital Technologies studies as a specialist subject. Here, they learn about good digital citizenship, online safety, computing and technology. They use a variety of devices during their lesson time including iPads, robots and more.

In Secondary School, students can choose to continue their studies in this field as part of their elective course selection.

The IT Helpdesk is located in the Library and our staff are on hand to offer students technical support from 8.00am - 4.00pm during term time. Students are also able to email the IT Helpdesk from the link on their Student Dashboard.

Lost or damaged devices are covered by insurance and must be reported to Home Room teachers or brought to the IT Helpdesk. Students are provided with a temporary laptop while awaiting repair.
