Student Orientation Day

NEW STUDENTS - YEARS 3-12 AND ALL YEAR 7 STUDENTS

Orientation Day for new students from Years 3-12 and all students entering Year 7 in 2024 is being held on Monday 29 January commencing at 8.45am. Students should wear their summer school uniform. During the program, students will meet the Principal, Deputy Principal and Heads of School. Topics covered include communication, daily management, pastoral care and policy. Students and parents will then break into sub-school groups and run through topics specific to their year levels. Following a tour of the school, all students and parents/caregivers are invited to attend a Sausage Sizzle hosted by the Parents & Friends Association members. All Year 7 students will continue orientation day after the sausage sizzle by attending Home Room activities and iPad training. The Year 7 extended orientation session is expected to finish by 1.00pm.

NEW STUDENTS - LITTLE GEORGIES TO YEAR 2

All students and parents are invited to start orientation day at a Sausage Sizzle hosted by the Parents & Friends Association commencing at 10.00am. The orientation day program for all new Little Georgies to Year 2 students commences at 11.00am outside the Early Learning Centre. Following an introductory session, students and parents will proceed to classrooms with their teachers to participate in class-based activities. The orientation program is expected to finish at 12.00pm.
